Trevor Stankiewicz

Trevor Stankiewicz is a 2023 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. At Penn, he received the Edwin C. Baker Award for excellence in advancing social justice, awarded to the graduating JD student performing the highest number of pro bono hours in their class. During law school, Trevor worked with International Human Rights Advocates, contextualizing victims’ rights following the disaster in Lebanon, and the International Refugee Assistance Program, creating a humanitarian parole application for an individual hoping to flee Afghanistan. During his law school summers, Trevor interned with Fortify Rights, documenting crimes against humanity occurring in Myanmar following the military coup, and with the Ministry of Environment and Water in Bulgaria, working on climate change policy.
 
Before law school, Trevor wrote two documentary plays that have been performed in New York City, San Francisco, and Addis Ababa. He received a Bachelor of Arts in English and Performing and Media Arts from Cornell University. His work at Climate Rights International is supported by the Catalyst Fellowship from the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a fast reader, a world traveler, and a dessert innovator.
