Marcela Gómez is an associate at Climate Rights International, where she supports communications and publishing. She is an international development professional with experience in research, external relations, and international cooperation. Previously, she has supported international policy dialogues and conferences on human rights, emerging technologies, health, and governance.
She has worked with UNESCO Priority Africa and External Relations, where she contributed to the coordination of a publication on best practices in South-South and Triangular Cooperation to achieve SDG 4 (education). She has also worked with research teams on issues related to corporate social responsibility, global value chains, and governance in emerging economies.
Marcela holds a master’s degree in International Development from Sciences Po Paris and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of British Columbia. Her interests include human rights, climate change, and development, particularly in Latin America.
