Jamal Madni is currently the Head of Engineering Strategy for Boeing, Defense, Space & Security (BDS), where he drives strategic optimizations across technology, tools, processes and people for BDS’ 20,000 engineers worldwide. Most recently, Jamal was Co-Founder & CEO of Ingage, a company intersecting artificial intelligence and human connection by developing a behavioral signal analytics videoconferencing software suite to help individuals better read and react to the virtual boardroom, exam room and classroom. Using deep machine learning to track human behaviors such as facial expressions, tonal analysis, conversational themes, real-time interruptions, word choices and intonations, Ingage became a first-of-its-kind embedded real-time system to drive value-driven outcomes in industries predicated on trust and engagement that were evolving to virtual, namely, online learning, telehealth and online B2B sales. Ingage was acquired in 2023 by VidCruiter, the world’s largest video interviewing platform, to use ethical AI for minimizing unconscious bias and scaling equitably effective hiring practices worldwide. Jamal is also Co-Owner of the Los Angeles Football Network (LAFB), Southern California’s fastest growing digital sports content platform with sponsorship from ESPN.
For these efforts, Jamal has been nationally and internationally recognized by organizations such as the Ellis Island Honor Society, IEEE, SAE, SSPI, IET and The Engineers’ Council. Passionate about organizational culture, Jamal founded the da Vinci Summit, named North America’s Employee Engagement Project of the Year in 2017. Finally, as a social entrepreneur, Jamal created a college application preparatory program, which has sent over 50 first generation, low income, underrepresented minority students to pursue STEM-based higher education. Currently, Jamal serves as a board director for the UCLA Foundation, CBB Analytics and Climate Rights International. Jamal graduated with a double master’s degree in electrical and biomedical engineering from UCLA where he was honored with the Edward K. Rice Outstanding Master’s Student Award and has a master’s degree in business management from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business as a Robert Joss Scholar.
